This two-day workshop will guide you through the basics of making your own plaster moulds and decorative sprigs for ceramics.You’ll learn:How to safely mix and pour plasterHow to make your own one-part slipcast mould.How to design and cast sprigs from clayHow to create a hump mould.How to use your moulds in creative ways.How to slipcast.This workshop can at times be physically strenuous. Each workshop also includes one open studio session (Tues, Wed, or Sat, 4:30–9:30 p.m.) for follow-up work such as finishing, glazing, or slip casting. Extra charge for materials may apply.All workshops take place at the Bettystown studio and include materials unless otherwise stated.Non-refundable deposit required to hold place.
